Juggling two monikers in two separate genres, its no surprise that Red Bull Studios Selector have picked up on this hip hop version of the near musical prodigy Eddie Johnston. 'What Are We Doing’ is the product of sessions in California with massive vocalist Ty Dolla $ign and this chilled hip hop track has similarities to Johnston’s other work, with its delicately sparse chord progressions. With Johnston becoming more promising at every turn, no one will ever guess Race Banyon is an 18 year-old from Wellington. -SJ
